".. את הגלויה הזאת קיבלתי במסעדה במרכז בריסל, ששימישה מרכז לתנועת המחתרת בתקופת הכיבוש הגרמני. היא מראה את תמונתו של פסל שהיתה עומדת בחלון הראוה של המסעדה ושע"פ כיוון עמידת התרנגול (שהיו מזיזים אותה לפי סימנים מוסכמים לפי הצורך) אפשר היה לאנשי החתרת ולצנחני הברית לראות מבחוץ האם אפשר להכינס למסעדה, או שסכנה נמצאת בה.."
