Notrim is a nickname for the forces of Jewish policemen in the Land of Israel during the British Mandate called "Notrim". They operated within the framework of the British Police and the initiative of the Jewish Agency from the events of 1936-1939 until the establishment of the State in the defense of the Jewish settlements, the various factories and the transportation routes against the harassment of the Arab gangs. The members of the forces were considered "addicts," ie, members of an auxiliary force to the British police, who shared them due to the lack of manpower and the thought that this would lead to more peace in the country. In fact, they were commanded by the Haganah, which exploited the forces and their weapons for its various activities in defense and settlement.
