A magnificent album with a velvet cover, which was printed in a limited edition in honor of the inauguration of 'Heichal Shlomo'. Published by The Chief Rabbinate of Israel, the spiritual center, 8.5.1958/Lag BaOmer, the decennial year of the State of Israel.
The album deals with religious life in Israel. Many pictures of the Chief Rabbis, synagogues in Israel, religious life in Israel, yeshivas in Israel, Torah scrolls, observance of the Torah in the army, and more.
Among others, there is a photo of a Talmud lesson by Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer at 'Etz Ha'Chaim' Yeshiva and a yeshiva-wide class at 'Hebron' Yeshiva. Photos of Rabbi Shlomo Goren saying the paratrooper's prayer in a plane before parachuting, a member of Moshav Nechalim guarding on a horse, the first settlers of Kfar Chabad (a Hassidic settlement near Lod), and more.
