GEORGES DELAHACHE Un Ennemi Cardinal Collier SIGNED Book French France 1910s
Born Lucien Aaron in Nancy, France, this writer, educator, and activist studied at the Lycee Condorcet and the Sorbonne before beginning his career. Adopting the pen name Georges DeLaHache, he befriended Charles Peguy, the noted French poet and essayist. He published two works during the infamous Dreyfus Affair and the attendant wave of anti-Semitism, including "A Plea for the Attached."
He continued to publish books and articles, many related to the Alsace and Judaism, with his works consisting mostly of historical and art books (as well as textbooks for students).
After 1918, he became archivist the Strasburg City Archives and Secretary of the Friends of the Cathedral in that city.
